Events have been Gavin’s passion for as long as he can remember. Weddings, concerts, beauty pageants — you name it, he’s planned it. Regardless of the event, there is a sense of joy Gavin gets from working hard so that others can make memories that last lifetime, which brought him to found Gavin Snyder Events in his home of Jackson, MS.

Gavin’s Journey
University of Southern Mississippi
Throughout his college years, Gavin oversaw logistics and operations of 70+ events for the Southern Miss Activities Council, a city-wide concert with national acts and the Miss USM pageant, to name a few. It was here that he began to hone his craft.
Marriott Hotels
Shortly after graduation, Gavin packed his bags and moved to New Orleans to serve as an Events Operations Supervisor and Reservations Supervisor. Here, he oversaw large executive events and gatherings, coordinated room blocks and more.
History Museum of Mobile
Another big part of Gavin’s journey was his time as the Marketing & Events Manager for the history museum, one of the area’s premier wedding venues. There, he coordinated 30+ weddings, dozens of corporate event and Explore Mobile, an annual event dedicated to celebrating Mobile.
Trustmark Bank
After his years in Mobile, he returned to Mississippi to serve as the Public Relations Coordinator for Trustmark’s Jackson office. He coordinated community and customer-facing events all throughout Mississippi and other cities in the Southeast.
